MOSCOW, Jul 7 (PRIME) -- Russian marketplace Wildberries is turning into a channel of counterfeit products sale, but the company is ready to prevent it, Vladislav Zaslavsky, deputy head of the digital marking department at the Industry and Trade Ministry, said on Thursday.
“Today, this company (Wildberries) is truly becoming a counterfeit channel and it is proved by multiple complaints both from the consumers received by the Industry and Trade Ministry, and representatives of communities, for example, the union of leather workers,” Zaslavsky said.
He added that Wildberries said it is ready to create a system to prevent such sales via its platform.
